Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner Opening – Danbury, Connecticut – 60 Miles from New York City
Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has as excellent opportunity for a full-time, employed Hematology/Oncology APRN/Nurse Practitioner at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with mostly outpatient coverage. Danbury is located about 60 miles northeast of New York City in suburban Fairfield County and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State.
Our long established and busy practice includes six physicians and three Advanced Practitioners. Our office is based in Praxair Cancer Center within the Danbury Hospital Campus. We offer multidisciplinary cancer care, collaborating with Surgical and Medical Subspecialties, Radiation Oncology, and Palliative Care. Additionally, we offer Diagnostic Imaging, Cancer Genetics, Radiation Therapy, Cancer Research and Trials and Psychological and Social Support Services. Our employed practice sees a broad spectrum of Hematology/Oncology patients in the office and hospital.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner with previous Hematology/Oncology experience and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. This position requires a minimum formal education of Master Degree, State of CT RN and APRN license, and Federal DEA and CT Controlled Substance Registration. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, as well as allowances for CMEs and Dues.

Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train and car.
