BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is a physician-led medical group seeking a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner (specialty in Electrophysiology) to work directly with the Physician (Electrophysiologist) and in collaboration with the physicians and team members within the cardiology group.
The practitioner will provide direct care to those patients with cardiac rhythm disorders and related conditions. They will also provide evaluation and care to patients with implanted cardiac rhythm devices.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Board certified Nurse Practitioner with prior experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Minimum of 5 years in Cardiology/2 years in Electrophysiology
- Working knowledge of implantable cardiac devices and EP procedures.
- Position is a combination of inpatient and outpatient services.
Additional requirements include:
- Experience in Congestive Heart Failure, with the ability to manage a clinical schedule with an appropriate patient volume.
- IBHRE Pacing Exam Certification or obtain within the first 2 years.
- IBHRE EP Exam certification or obtain within the first 5 years.
- Ability to program and interrogate devices.
