Vascular Surgery

The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of vascular surgery, including both open and endovascular surgery, but have a strong interest in managing complex aortic disease. The chosen candidate will be expected to work closely with the various multidisciplinary teams within the health care system to grow the surgical volume through referral networking with the assistance of the other vascular surgeons at Carepoint Health. Professional Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeons with endovascular skills preferred.

Responsibilities: include performing all of the usual and customary clinical services of a physician specializing in vascular surgery which include the diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment (including the performance of Endovascular and Open Vascular Surgeries) of in-patients and out-patients in an Ambulatory Surgery Center and Hospital setting .This also includes performing  Vascular Screenings and participation in other marketing related events geared towards expanding our patient base. Ideal candidate will be expected to regularly participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Minimum Qualifications:

Prospective candidates must be Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and have completed an ACGME approved 5+2 General Surgery/Vascular Surgery Residency or a 0+5 Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency or equivalent. Chosen candidate should either have a current New Jersey Medical License or be eligible for application.

Minimum Experience:

• Surgery: 3 years (Required)
