Cardiac Surgery Transplant

A special opportunity for a Cardiovascular Transplant Surgeon to join an existing transplant program in Largo Florida. 
This is an exceptionally nice part of West Florida as well and a unique opportunity. 
Largo Medical Center is a teaching hospital with a rapidly growing transplant program. We are looking to hire a second heart and lung transplant surgeon to join this exceptional team. This opportunity would be for about 50% cardiac surgery and 50% transplant surgery. We are hiring two dedicated procurement surgeons and will be starting the lung transplant program about 1 year from now. 
The ideal candidate will: 
•BC/BE in Cardiothoracic Surgery 
•Perform both Cardiothoracic and Transplant Surgery 
•Have a verifiable track record of quality and/or exceptional training 
•ECMO and mechanical circulatory support experience is a plus. 
•Good communication and team building skill set. 
Cardiac Surgical Associates (CSA) is a large network of 16 physicians who work with HCA Hospitals across West Florida. CSA provides and extremely competitive compensation package that includes a base guarantee and RVU incentive along with full benefits and PTO.
