Pathology

   Crozer-Keystone Health Network the premier health network in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Per Diem Pathology Assistant to join our pathology department at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. The pathology department handles over 17,000 specimens. They are responsible for the gross examination and dissection of anatomic specimens, prepare tissue for numerous pathological tests including frozen section, flow cytometry and immune histochemical staining. The individual should have the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical problems, work independently, and adapt positively to change.

Education and Training:

-          Minimum three years of experience under direction of a board certified pathologist

-          Education – B.S. or M.S. from an accredited PA training program (or completing final semester of an accredited training program)

Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:

-          PA Pathologist Assistant certification by ASCP or equivalent

-          Must successfully pass ASCP certification exam within 1 year of hire or eligibility, whichever is latest
