Full Time Orthopaedic Surgery Physician Job in Altoona, PA

Orthopaedic Surgeon – UPMC Altoona PA – Subspecialty interest - Sign-on bonus!

UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon with subspecialty interest and experience in trauma, total joints/hand preferred but not necessary to step into a fully established practice with high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital’s emergency and trauma departments. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Opportunity Details

Join a full-service practice with 6 orthopedic surgeons, 7 Physician Assistants, non-surgical sports medicine physician and a neuropsychology/concussion fellow
Clinical Academic appointment
Trauma call 1:11
Practice call 1:5
Team physicians for local Division 1 University
In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system
Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex
