Facility: A 60+-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving 20+ towns in Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Opportunity: Practices under the supervising surgeon to evaluate patients in the office setting including minor office procedures and injections, first assist in the OR and, in some instances, perform orthopaedic care in the Emergency Department. The PA treats both acute and chronic problems. The scope of problems encountered by the PA is the same as those dealt with by the supervising surgeons in the practice.
