Oral Surgeon, Group Practice – Partnership Opportunity

 

Longstanding multi-site dental practice offering a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery services with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal is seeking an experienced oral surgeon to cover sites in Manchester/Salem NH

 

The Oral Surgeon, reporting to the Regional Dental Director, provides and manages dental diagnostic and surgical procedures on the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions. Performs optimal standard of care for all patients utilizing ADA and AAOMS guidelines. Diagnoses and provides appropriate dental treatment plans to patients to include discussion and explanation of treatment plans with patients and/or guardians to their satisfaction and mutual understanding. Educates patients and guardians on the importance of maintaining proper oral health and outlining goals for both medical and dental health considerations.

 

Communicates with our clinical and administrative support team regarding patient treatment plans, required follow up visits and referrals to specialty dentists. Collaborates with referring providers and medical providers to properly meet the needs of the patient. Prescribes medications as necessary and appropriate. Follows the dental office infection control plan, employee health and safety program, and patient protection plan consistent with Group policies and relevant guidelines from OSHA, CDC, ADA, HIPAA and other relevant organizations and laws.
