Family Nurse Practitioner

Baystate Health (BH), western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner to join our organization in western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights –
 

• Join our team of Advanced Practitioners and strong support staff in our Employee Health Services (EHS) Office at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.  Our team provides care to over 12,000 employees.
• Serve as a Lead Advanced Practitioner working in close collaboration with EHS leadership. 
• Participate in strategic planning for EHS evolution at BH, provide educational content to EHS team, and represent EHS in organization-wide committee work. 
• Collaborate with both the Director and Manager of the department on efficiencies and growth opportunities, issues and departmental needs.
• Clinical responsibilities include meeting injured employees to assess injury/illness and develop treatment plan, return-to-work appointments, clearances from ID conditions and exposures, pandemic care and medical clearances for new employees.   

  Qualifications:  Board certified Family Nurse Practitioners with 5+ years’ experience in occupational health or related field.  Provider expected to achieve accreditation with American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) certification upon placement or within 18 months of start.
