Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant

An integrated healthcare network has an opening for a geriatric nurse practitioner to provide primary care in a long-term care facility. This position is located 10 miles Southeast of Tacoma, Washington.

Job Details:

• Friday through Monday schedule with flexibility to set daily schedule
• Full-time position
• Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, implement plan of care, order and interpret lab results, prescribe and monitor medications, etc.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions

• Active and unrestricted Washington Nurse Practitioner license or application in process
• Active and unrestricted DEA or application in process
• Family or Adult-Gerontology Certified
• Minimum of 6 months Post Acute Care or Primary care experience necessary
