Neurology

St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, in Brighton, MA, is looking for an experienced, full-time Advanced Practitioner to join our expanding neurology department as a clinician in the Epilepsy Program at Steward Medical Group.  This innovative program provides high quality, tertiary-level comprehensive care for adult patients, including focused counselling for women considering pregnancy, older patients requiring medication changes due to chronic side effects, and patients newly diagnosed with seizures and epilepsy.  In addition to maintaining an active outpatient practice, the Advanced Practitioner will assist with securing accreditation through the National Association of Epilepsy Centers, and will be responsible for nursing education, within the hospital, and for the community.  Strong organizational skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.  This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for a practice that combines innovative clinical approaches with personalized care, incorporating general wellness techniques to improve patient satisfaction.  In order to provide optimal service for patients, clinics are held weekly at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, and providers will travel biweekly to practice locations in Quincy, Weston, and Methuen.

Qualifications:

• Two to five years of experience in Neurology preferred
• Current Massachusetts Board of Registration License
• Current Federal DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance registrations
