We are looking for a Primary Care Physician to join our newly established outpatient practice in Tysons Corner, in the heart of the Washington DC-Northern Virginia area. This position offers you the opportunity to practice primary care medicine the way it should be. In this outpatient setting, you will have a set Monday-Friday schedule where you’ll be able to focus entirely on primary care. You will see fewer patients each day and spend more time investing in longitudinal relationships as well as thoughtful decision-making through advanced technology and a team-based approach.

Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care

The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
Must be state licensed in Virginia on or before the start date

Responsibilities:

Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and wellness visits
Treating patients in-office as well as conducting tele-health visits
Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Oversee or perform appropriate in-office procedures and testing
Develop care plans to meet patients’ healthcare goals
Offer counseling, education, and ongoing support
Refer to medical specialists who are well-matched with patient needs and personalities
Advocate for patients and help “troubleshoot” hurdles to effective care
Participate in and seek opportunities to build medical and healthcare partnerships
Create client education documents and messages based on research and training
Participate in the research and development of timely & informative newsletter
