Hospitalist

Torresdale Campus – Jefferson Health-Torresdale delivers a wide range of specialty, emergency and primary care in a warm, friendly, service-oriented environment. Frankford Campus – Jefferson Health-Frankford delivers a wide range of emergency, primary and specialty care in a warm, friendly, service-oriented environment. We also collaborate with a variety of health care partners like Moss Rehab and Vitas Hospice in order to provide patients with a broad range of care and services.  Highlights of the campus include; Emergency Services, Primary Care, Specialty Care, Outpatient Services, Preventative Health and Wellness Services.

We are currently recruiting for full-time hospitalists to work at our Frankford and Torresdale campuses.  The Medical Hospitalist will render professional medical services to hospitalized patients, admitting medical patients to general medical floors, telemetry, and ICU, providing supervision for resuscitation efforts and in the stabilization of critically ill patients and central venous access if needed.  Maintain and follow medical in-patients as assigned.  Serve as teaching attending/faculty and actively participate in the Graduate Medical Education Program and supervision of Physician Assistants. 

Education: Graduate of an LCME or AOA approved medical school and successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency and/or fellowship program.

Experience: Minimum of three years of successfully completed Internal Medicine residency training.

Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements:

• PA Unrestricted License
• DEA License
• ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)
• Board eligibility and/or Residency Certificates in Internal Medicine/Family Practice
• ACLS & BLS Certifications
•  Appointed in good standing to the Jefferson Health Northeast’s Medical Staff
