Hospitalist

Atlantic Health System is seeking full-time Physician Assistant to join our team (Nights only).

Facility: 

Be a part of a thriving Hospital Medicine program at Newton Medical Center located in Newton, NJ.

 Responsibilities:

• Main role would be house-coverage for patients admitted to the regular medical-surgical floors.
• Opportunities to collaborate with the Physician Nocturnist for admissions to the Hospitalist Service
• Respond to acute calls for patients in-house
• Order and review appropriate testing and treatment for admitted patients
• Communicate with staff, patients, and families as needed in the care of admitted patients
• 12 hour Night shifts starting at 7pm.

  Qualifications 

  • Min 2 years Acute Care/Hospitalist experience is must

    Education: 

    • PA Certification
    • BSN and Master’s Degree

      Required License: 

      • Valid NJ PA or Nursing license

        Certifications: 

        • BLS Required 
        • ACLS Required
