Hospitalist

San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist to provide nocturnist inpatient only service throughout the continuum of care from admits to discharge. Join an established hospital employed group; up to 13 physicians attending to 85-90% of total inpatient census. Average of 16 patients seen per shift. Hybrid block scheduling, 16 shifts per month. Desirable blend of both general and critical care. Open ICU.  Routine ventilator management, frequent central line placement, and available for emergent intubations.  Wide variety of Specialists available locally and regionally. Critical care background strongly preferred.
