General Surgery

A non-profit community hospital in northern Massachusetts is adding a General Surgeon. For nearly 150 years, we have been providing patient-centered, compassionate, and quality health care for the whole family.

About the opportunity:

• Team of 3 other general surgeons and a breast surgeon
• Schedule consists of 1.5-2 days of clinic and 1.5 days per week OR time with 4 hours per week of admin time (can be remote)
• Acute Care and Trauma Surgery (Level 3) call rotation with other surgeons in practice
• Typical census is 20 patients per clinic day per Surgeon
• Call is 1:5

• 189-bed non-profit hospital with clinical affiliations with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
• Level 3 Trauma Center
• 70,000 annual visits
