Responsibilities for the Gastroenterology Physician

• Must do ERCP or EUS
• Call 1:5
• Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns
• Performing specialized tests to diagnose patients
• Determining proper courses of treatment
• Performing endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs

Requirements of the Gastroenterology Physician

• Active Florida Medical License 
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology with ERCP & EUS
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with a degree from an accredited college for Gastroenterology
