Summit Oaks Hospital in Summit, NJ (NYC area)is recruiting a new Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician. The Physician duties include admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health inpatient treatment.The position will be locatedat free standing, 122 bed behavioral health hospitals inNorthern NJ, just outside of New York City. The patient population will include adults and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues is in the scope of patient care under the physician. ThePhysician position could be either employed or contract work. There is a full team of diverse Psychiatry physician staff at the hospital for collaboration among them and the Internist.The work schedule is flexible for part-time or fulltime with limited call.
