CentraCare – Melrose Emergency Room is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide services in the Emergency Department of our Critical Access Hospital. 

As a member of the Emergency Department team – you will care for patients and families in an acute setting utilizing advanced assessment and physical examination skills to provide high quality patient care services.  You have access to imaging resources, full lab capabilities and 24/7 respiratory therapy support.

At CentraCare Melrose, our team of skilled health care providers offers quality care in an efficient, cost-effective and caring manner to patients of all ages.  Melrose is comprised of a primary care clinic, 14-bed critical access hospital, 75-bed long-term care facility, 60-unit senior housing with services facility and a guest house for families desiring to stay close to loved ones.  In addition to those services, we have several specialists on outreach who provide patient consultation, education, and diagnostic testing at the hospital on a regular basis.

CentraCare Melrose has been designated as a Comprehensive Advanced Life Support hospital by a coalition of Minnesota health care organizations and individuals, reflecting a commitment to quality rural emergency medical care.

REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for this position you must meet one of the following requirements;

• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or hold a current Minnesota Physician Assistant Licensure
• Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a NP/PA/CNS

  We would prefer that our candidate have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in one of the following;

  • Emergency Department
  • Urgent Care
  • Family Medicine
  • Walk-In Clinic

    In addition, all applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.
