Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking multiple Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our innovative virtual healthcare team in downtown Indianapolis.

Position Details:
- Full-time and supplemental openings available
- Schedule:
- Rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts (6a-6p and 11a-11p)
- 5 days /'on/', then 8-11 days /'off/'. Please inquire for additional schedule details.
- 1 weekend per month required
- Split night call (11p-6a) with other APPs
- Work at an IU Health virtual screening hub to provide patient care as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Hospital at home responsibility - Advanced practice provider will virtually help with medications adjustments, antibiotics, and with other complex clinical responsibilities for patients who return home from the hospital
- Provide virtual COVID-19 screenings for patients
- Provide on-demand low acuity care that can be completed in a virtual care environment
- Expected patient volume: 16-22 patients/day
- Must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing and technological healthcare environment

- Although this is a virtual care opening, candidates must be able to complete their shifts in downtown Indianapolis at IU Health's Community Medicine Virtual Health office located at:
- 714 North Senate, Indianapolis, IN 46202
Qualifications:
- Experienced Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants preferred
- New APP grads must have acute care nursing experience due to the hospital at home responsibilities
- Board Certified / Board Eligible
- Indiana State licensure or willingness to obtain
- Preferred start date is 2020
