Critical Care - Intensivist

University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (UM-SJMC), a proud member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an immediate opening for a Fulltime Cardiac Surgery NP/PA to join our growing inpatient team in suburban Towson, Maryland.

Job Specifics:

• Monday thru Saturday work schedule
  • 12 & 24 hour shifts available
  • On-Call required every 4th weekend
  • Premium bonus offered for extra shifts
  • Be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Surgeons, NPs & PAs
    • Strong support from two engaged, quality driven and established Surgeons
    • Challenging but manageable patient acuity
    • Cardiac Surgery experience required, ICU & OR experience preferred
    • Successful candidate will be a graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner program with concentrated area of study Acute Care Nursing or completed an accredited Physician Assistant program with appropriate certification exams.
