Critical Care - Intensivist

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) Healthcare has joined HCA, one of the nation’s largest healthcare networks, to change the way critical care medicine is practiced. We are looking for Critical Care providers to join us in our mission to make a difference in the care of every patient every day at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA. 

We have a full position available.  Our APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform, routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation, work independently, and be able to carry patient load of 8-10 patients per shift. We typically require 3 years’ ACNP experience in an Intensive Care Unit.

Opportunity Specifics
• 24-bed combined Med/Surg ICU
• Responsible for new consults and cross coverage from 7 pm - 7 am; 8-10 primary encounters
• Open ICU with mandatory consult from the ICC provider on all adult ICU non-trauma cases
