Cardio-Thoracic Surgery

Banner University Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with CT Surgery Clinic outpatient training/experience to provide clinic support for the Division of Surgery in the clinic. The preferred candidate will have critical care experience working in a clinic with post-surgery patient.  Post-operative wound care experience is required.

As a Nurse Practitioner, this position is involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, wound care, interpretation of diagnostic tests, education, consultations. This position requires working closely with Surgeons/Residents/Fellows and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The candidate needs the ability to work independently to maintain patient flow efficiency.

Work Schedule: Full-time, M-F 7am-4pm
Patient Volumes: 12-15 patients per day

Required Qualifications:

• Current Board Certification
• Current NP Arizona License
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
• Experience in Critical Care and post-operative Wound Care
