Cardio-Thoracic Surgery

Physicians Regional Healthcare System is seeking a Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience for the new Open Heart Program that will launch summer 2020.

The PA will have skills in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Valve Repair and Replacement, aortic surgery and general thoracic surgery.  Hospital is also looking to grow a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program.

• First assist in cardiac and thoracic cases
• Endoscopic Vein Harvesting
• Rounding on patients throughout the continuum: from CVICU to telemetry and discharge
• Completion of an accredited physician assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Active or eligible for PA licensure in Florida
