Cardio-Thoracic Surgery

Lutheran Hospital and Lutheran Medical Group (140+ physicians) are seeking 3 additional Advanced Practitioners with ideally 3+ years of experience in Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Surgery to improve efficiency and workflow for patients in the operation room. Incoming PA would be involved with complex CV surgical cases as part of a team of highly specialized physicians and assistants ("Indiana Ohio Heart"). There are currently 6 CV Surgeons in group and 3 PAs. Incoming Physician Assistant is required to have EVH experience and certification in CV surgery.  Group will consider graduating candidates as well.

The primary responsibility is OR 1st assist / EVH. Rounding is minimal, but would be highly valued going forward.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Surgeries/EVH in the mornings, Post OP follow-up visits in the afternoons (noon to 4:30pm).
Call (weekdays/weekends): Light and Limited. No VAD on call at this time.
