University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center (UMSJMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System and located in Towson, Maryland, is looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiac Surgery Stepdown Unit.

Job Specifics:

• Responsibilities include caring for post-op patients after they have been transferred out of ICU
• NP/PA will perform hospital based preoperatively consults and H&P’s
• Shifts 7am-3pm and 11am-7pm, 12 hour weekend shifts, every 4th weekend on call
• Experience carding for cardiac surgery patients strongly preferred
• UM SJMC is a CMS 5-star, Leapfrog Grade “A” facility and was named best community hospital in Maryland by US News and World Reports.
